Delete your Fixxr account

This page is for the Fixxr app by Fixxr Technologies, Inc.. You can delete your account in the app, or ask us here without the app.

Option 1: delete it in the app

  1. Open the Fixxr app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Tap Delete My Account to confirm. Your account closes right away.

Option 2: ask us to delete it

No app, or can’t sign in? Fill in this form. We will email you to confirm the account is yours, then delete it. We finish within 45 days, and usually much sooner.

You can also email privacy@fixxr.repair from the address on your account.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in. The account is closed and can no longer be used. Your mobile number and email are released, so you could sign up again later with a fresh account.
  • Sharing. Any mechanic you shared your car’s records with loses access, and open invite links stop working.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Repair jobs, estimates, payments and receipts, with the name and contact details on them. Tax, accounting and warranty rules require us to keep these, and the shop that did the work needs its records. We keep them for [7 years].
  • A record of your deletion request, so we can show we handled it.
  • Website and app analytics, which the providers keep for their own shorter windows (see Section 4 of the Privacy Policy).

Want your name, car details and photos erased from those records too, as far as the law allows? Say so in the form and we will remove everything we are not required to keep.
