Get it looked at soon if:
- The shake has gotten noticeably worse over the last few weeks.
- The brake pedal travels farther than it used to before biting.

- The car pulls to one side when you brake.
Stop driving it and have it towed if:
- The pedal goes soft, spongy, or sinks toward the floor.
- The brake warning light comes on and stays on.
